Analyze Sub-Components Using the Initialize Option

You can analyze multiple assembly sub-components using the Initialize command. This gives you a quicker route to analyzing an entire assembly, instead of costing each component individually.

1. Select relevant rows in the assembly tree shown in the Assembly Details tab, then right-click and select Initialize :

   

2. Enter production information in the Cost Object Info window that appears:

3. Click OK to analyze these selected components.

4. When the analysis is finished, the component rows show a green status symbol indicating that they have been successfully analyzed.
